Wend Doesn’t Care about BPA?Today Stiv Wilson, editor at WEND magazine, posted a very interesting article on the WEND site. Why doesn’t Stiv care about BPA? Check out his article here “Why I Don’t Give A Damn About The BPA…” Laken USA appreciates Stiv’s take on the issue concerning BPA and other coatings that are in our food and beverage packaging products. Laken believes that if it is possible, our entire industry should move towards becoming BPA Free, and will continue working with Senator’s Feinstein and Schumer on legislation concerning BPA. Furthermore, a standardized method for testing BPA and regulations for what qualifies as a BPA Free product. Laken pledges to continue evolving our products into greener beverage holders, reducing our carbon footprint, and increasing the usage of upcycled and recycled materials.
