Is Your Bottle Really BPA Free?
In our eyes, BPA Free means that a bottle must be 100% certified and tested to be clean of any form of BPA; not just free from leeching. BPA is found in the coatings and plastics used by many other water bottle manufacturers. Some bottle manufactures claim to leech 0.00% BPA, but that does not mean that there they are BPA Free. There are several aluminum bottle linings and plastic bottles manufacturer’s that claim to have 0.00% leeching, but still have BPA in the coating and plastic. That does not mean BPA Free! Please click on the link below to see the proof from our official testing facility, which backs up our claim to be completely BPA free. Choose a healthy bottle to drink from; drink from Laken bottles.

What’s is Bisphenol A (BPA)?
Info about the chemical Bisphenol A and its potential health risks:
Bisphenol A, commonly abbreviated as BPA, is an organic compound with two phenol functional groups. It is a difunctional building block of several important polymers and polymer additives. With an annual production of approximately 3 million tonnes, it is an important monomer in the production of polycarbonate.
Suspected of being hazardous to humans since the 1930s, concerns about the use of Bisphenol A in consumer products grabbed headlines in 2008 when several governments issued reports questioning its safety, and some retailers pulled products made from it off their shelves.
Bisphenol-A is a hormone-disrupting chemical considered to be potentially harmful to human health and the environment. It has been known that scratched and worn polycarbonate feeding bottles will leach this chemical into liquids.
